Logbook page 2. I went back to 12m and NG2T gave me a call. The band was open to South America and Caribbean so I tuned around and heard LU7HF working a string of Europeans including DF2GN/P on a SOTA summit over there. I couldn't hear the Europeans and was unable to break through them to LU7HF. Some more tuning netted me XE1XR and HC2AO. A KH7 was coming through weakly from Hawaii but he couldn't hear me. I called another LU and a FG5 on SSB but they couldn't hear me either. Still a fun day, I made 23 QSOs in total including another summit-to-summit QSO with Elliott K6EL over on Mt. Davidson. Thanks to all the SOTA chasers who called in!

  • Logbook page 1. I started on 12m and quickly worked Rich N4EX followed a bit later by Larry W6UB. Rich said that an EA2 was calling me but I couldn't hear him. 15m was in good shape and I made most of my contacts on that band.
