SOTAWatch spots. I could hear chasers working Scott W7IMC on 20m SSB when I finished setting up, but I couldn't hear him. I made summit-to-summit QSOs with all of the other North American summits that were on the air during the same time period that I was.

• SOTAWatch spots. I could hear chasers working Scott W7IMC on 20m SSB when I finished setting up, but I couldn't hear him. I made summit-to-summit QSOs with all of the other North American summits that were on the air during the same time period that I was.
• Reverse Beacon Network (RBN) spots
• Logbook page 1. Pete VE7CV must have been lurking on frequency because he answered my first or second CQ.
• Logbook page 2. Strange conditions today with lots of deep QSB. I worked a bunch of folks on 30m who I'd usually work on 20m (KT5X, W0MNA, W0ERI). Barry N1EU was surprisingly loud on 15m. Rich N4EX worked me on that band for the second activation in a row, and it may have been the only band he could hear me on (we usually connect on 20m).
• Logbook page 3. DJ5AV called in on 15m, which surprised me given how late it was and how poor the band seemed. He was my only DX contact and second German of the day, but the first German was actually in Arizona (W7/DL1UF on page 1).
Earlier, H0PPR and I had called CQ for a long time on 12m without any responses, even though we'd been heard by VE6AO's skimmer. The sporadic E's seemed to be working to the north, so when VE7KBN called me on 15m I asked him if he could do 12m. He said he could, so we QSYed and I had my first 12m contact of the day. John K1JD in NM called in a few minutes later even though I hadn't been spotted on 12m this time around. JD kindly spotted me, and Todd KH2TJ came in soon after from Portola (35-ish miles away).
• Logbook page 4. I didn't want to go QRT until I'd worked the K7S gang up in WA summit-to-summit, so to kill time I dug out the microphone and called CQ SOTA on 20m SSB. It was slow going, and I wasn't able to complete the QSO with Jean VE2JCW: he said he couldn't hear my report. Steve WG0AT eventually called me as K7S for my first summit-to-summit QSO of the day. Steve then passed the K7S mic to Todd W7TAO and Rich AC7MA. After working them I saw WA7NCL spotted on yet another WA summit down on CW, and he became my second and final summit worked.
I made 39 QSOs total, 33 on CW and 6 on SSB. A big thanks to all the chasers who took the time to give me a call!
