Dog Valley Road/Stampede Reservoir Road
Along Dog Valley Road near where it ends at the paved road to the Stampede Reservoir boat ramp. 39.46033N, 120.13W. Note that this Dog Valley Road is not the same as the Dog Valley Road that climbs out of Verdi. This one is closer to Russel Valley than Dog Valley. I'm not sure if this location is actually on the trail. The maps and descriptions that I've seen for the trail in this area would put it about 1/4 mile east of this point.
