  • Dennis needed to return to Marysvale to retrieve some additional camera gear, so we took Paiute 01 down the switchbacks toward Circleville, hung a left (North) on Paiute 33, on to Paiute 35, and camped here at Paiute Reservoir.
  • On the way back to Marysvale on Paiute 02 East the next morning, we spotted this hill to the west of the trail and climbed to the top.

  • Coming back down after playing King of the Hill. After this we headed into Marysvale, retrieved the camera gear, went back up 02 West, then turned North on Paiute 01 towards Kimberley and Fremont Indian State Park.

  • We made a wrong turn onto Joe Lott Trail (thought it was 13) and Dennis rolled the Blue Grizzly while crossing a steep scree sidehill. The little tree it is hung up on was the only thing that kept it from rolling to the bottom of the canyon. Only minor scrapes on Dennis and the Grizzly.
  • Here I am hauling out the winch cable from the Blue Grizzly so as to secure it to a tree. Didn't want it to take off when we rolled it back onto its wheels. My camo Grizzly had already made it past this point.
  • Another picture of the side-sleeping Grizzly. I'm getting ready to tie it off again with a tow strap to an uphill tree. We unloaded the racks, rolled it back onto its wheels, and backed out of there. Turned onto Paiute 13 and on to Paiute 15 since they were easier trails and Dennis's nerves were frazzled!
